In pain right now? We always try to treat dental emergencies the same day whenever possible. Call (253) 573-0070 and we will do everything we can to get you out of pain today.
Dental Emergencies We Treat
- Severe or persistent toothache
- Broken, chipped, or cracked tooth
- Knocked-out tooth
- Lost filling or crown
- Swelling, abscess, or signs of infection
- Bleeding or injury to the teeth, gums, or mouth
Not sure if it’s an emergency? Call us anyway. If it hurts, it matters.
What to Do Before You Arrive
- Knocked-out tooth: Pick it up by the crown, not the root. Rinse it gently without scrubbing, and try to place it back in the socket. If you can’t, keep it in milk or tucked in your cheek, and call us immediately. Teeth treated within the first hour have the best chance of being saved.
- Toothache: Rinse with warm water and floss gently to remove anything stuck. A cold compress on your cheek helps with pain and swelling. Never place aspirin directly on the gum.
- Lost crown or filling: Keep the crown if you still have it and bring it with you. Avoid chewing on that side until you see us.
- Swelling: Apply a cold compress and call us right away. Swelling can be a sign of infection, and infections don’t wait.
What to Expect at Your Emergency Visit
First, we get you out of pain. Then we examine the tooth, take any x-rays needed, and explain exactly what we found in plain language. Before any treatment, we go over your options and the exact cost, so there are no surprises and no pressure. That’s our promise: patients first, honest dentistry. If cost is a concern, ask us about Cherry payment plans, which let you split treatment into monthly payments.
Emergency Dental FAQ
Q: Can I really be seen today?
A: That’s always our goal. We keep room in our schedule for emergencies and try to provide treatment the same day whenever possible. Calling early in the day gives us the best chance to fit you in.
Q: How much does an emergency visit cost?
A: It depends on what the tooth needs, and we can only know that after an exam. We diagnose first, then give you the exact cost and your options before any treatment. There is no obligation.
Q: Do you accept new patients for emergencies?
A: Yes. We are accepting new patients, including emergency visits. You don’t need to be an existing patient to be seen.
Q: What if my emergency happens when you’re closed?
A: Our hours are Monday–Thursday 8 AM–6 PM and Friday 8 AM–1 PM. If you have swelling with fever, bleeding that won’t stop, or trouble breathing or swallowing, don’t wait for us — go to urgent care or an emergency room, then call us as soon as we open.
